MSCWB Recruitment 2020: Vacancy Details
Municipal Corporation of West Bengal has invited online applications from the eligible candidates for filling 79 posts of assistant engineer and sub-assistant engineer. candidates can see post wise details in the following table.

Eligibility criteria

Academic Qualification
-
Candidate must possess an educational degree in civil/Electrical engineering from a recognised institute.for Assistant engineer post.

Candidates must possess diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineer for the post of sub- assistant engineer.

Candidate must have knowledge of working on computer
2. Age limit
-
Lower and upper age limit is 18 years and 37 years.
-
Upper age limit relaxation upto 5years is applicable to SC/ST candidates.
-
Upper age limit relaxation upto 3 years is applicable to OBC and candidates of west Bengal.
-
Upper age limit for recruitment of Physically challenged candidates is 45years.
3. Application fee
-
Candidatesbelonging to Unresrved and OBC category will have to pay applicatipon fee of rs. 150/- + bank charges of rs 20/- before the last date of submission.

Candidates belonging to Sc/ST category need not to pay application fee. They will have to pay only processing fee of rs. 50/- and bank charges of rs 20/- only.

Total application fee shall be deposited in the braches of Union bank of India only and the same shall be deposited in Account No. in the form of challan after depositing the application form.

Application fee once deposited will not be refunded in any case.

Emoulment & Pay Scale-

Candidates applying for Assistant engineer post will be paid as per Pay Level-16 of the Pay Matrix of ROPA 2019

Candidates applying for Sub-Assistant engineer post will be paid as per Pay Level-12 of the Pay Matrix of ROPA 2019
Selection process

Recruitment process will include written test and interview.
