The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission released the Jammu & Kashmir Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department official notification 2022-23 on December 26,2022 on the official website at jkpsc.nic.in . JKPSC AE Civil application form for 50 vacancies has also been released along with the official notification. Eligible applicants can fill and submit the SSC CHSL application form December 29, 2022 till January 28, 2023.

The application fee is Rs 1000 for the general candidate and for other reserved category candidates application fee is Rs 500. Candidature for the post of Jammu & Kashmir Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department will be not be considered in event on non-payment of specified exam application fee.

Part-1: Online One Time Registration -

Applicants need to first go to JKPSC website https:jkpsc.nic.in and click on One Time Registration (OTR).

To register, candidates will have to enter their basic details.

On submission of the registration form, the candidate’s registration ID and password will be generated.
Upload Photo - Applicants should proceed to upload their photograph. The size of the photograph should be between 10 KB to 20 KB and in passport size only.
Part - 2: Fill SSC CHSL application form - To fill in other details in the JKPSC AE (Civil) application form, candidates have to log in with their password and registration ID.
Fee Payment - After filling the application form, applicants have to pay their examination fees through online mode only.
Submission of application form - On successful fee payment, the application process is complete and candidates should take a printout of the JKPSC Assistant Engineer(Civil) application form.

JKPSC Assistant Engineer (Civil) 2023 –Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of J&K Assistant Engineer have been prescribed by Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC). JKPSC AE eligibility criteria are the set of guidelines in terms of age, educational qualification, and J&K Domicile that candidates have to fulfill to be eligible for the exam. Age Limit-As on January 01,2022: The age of candidates as per JKPSC AE (Civil) eligibility criteria should be 18 to 40 years for General Candidates(Open Reservation).

Educational Qualification: According to JKPSC AE (Civil) eligibility criteria 2023, the educational qualification required for the exam is Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) India in appropriate branch of Engineering..
Domicile: Candidates should be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The candidate must possess Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority in prescribed format as on 28-01-2023.

Candidates will be selected for J&K Jal Shakti department Assistant Engineer posts based on their performance in Written exam and in interview. Merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s performance in all the tiers. Candidate’s whose names appear in the merit list will be allotted the post of Assistant Engineer in Jal Shakti departments.
