Assistant engineer is an engineer who works under the supervising or senior engineer. These professionals can work in a variety of engineering industries and provide assistance to engineers working on large-scale projects that require a large team of engineers to complete a project 

Assistant Engineer Responsibilities and Duties. Assist in designing, developing and executing construction projects. Work with Project Manager in reviewing project specification and in preparing project plan and design sheet. ... Work with engineering team in developing construction plan.

 

Junior Engineer:

Junior Engineer Duties and Responsibilities. Junior engineers develop plans and make calculations for a variety of elements within an engineering project. Under the direct supervision of a senior engineer, they may draw blueprints and structural diagrams then submit them to their supervisor for correction and approval. 

Junior Engineer is an entry position for a full pledged Engineering profession. Junior Engineer works under the supervision of an Engineer. He is not expected to function as an Engineer and is also not at liberty to make decisions associated with work techniques and systems.

 

AE Eligibility Criteria:

  • Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission & LCE issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other qualification equivalent thereto which are recognized by the SBTET.
  • Age Limit : 18 years to 44 years

 

JE Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
  • Age Limit: 18 years to 32 years
  • Degree /Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government..
  • Working experience in the field of civil construction in monitoring and executive of projects.JE(Electrical & Mechanical)
  • Working experience in the field of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in the area of construction in monitoring and executive of projects.
  • Working  experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works
  • Work  experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.
  • Qualified in  Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Divisional -II of the institute of Surveyors (India).

                                              BIHAR ITICAT 2019 Exam Pattern

Bihar ITICAT 2019 will consist of a single question paper. The question paper will be an objective-type multiple choice question paper.

  • The duration of exam will be 2.15 hours.
  • The exam paper will be of two languages: English and Hindi.
  • The difficulty level of the question paper will be of 10th standard.
  • The paper will comprise questions from three subjects: Mathematics, General Knowledge, and General Science.

Marking scheme

  • BIHAR ITICAT  2019 question paper will contain total 150 questions.
  • Total marks of Bihar ITICAT will be of 300 marks.
  • Each question will carry 2 marks.
  • There will be no provision of negative marking in the exam.
